The word Resin comes from English and means resin, a natural substance that many plants produce. In cannabis culture, the term is used to describe the part of the plant where many of the most characteristic compounds are found. Resin plays a central role in the production of traditional products such as hashish and various forms of extracts.

Although “Resin” is a central element in cannabis extraction, it can often be seen in different forms. Both as a type of concentrate (e.g. Live Raisin), which was originally used in traditional hash production (Hash) or as a basis for solvent-based Extraction.
